Description

You ever wondered what a Psychedelic Rock album by the guy who draws Annyseed would sound like?

Click below to listen to my old rough cuts from 20 years ago.

When I was 16 I had a plan to one day put together a Psychedelic
Concept album called, 'the Electric Multi-colored Doenut.'
but as the years go by, you start focusing on maybe one or two
dreams, and drop the rest.

I couldn't sing very well, and I had a limited knowledge of
guitar chords, and maybe I could have dropped the comics and concentrated on
writing songs, but too many people told me I was no good at it, and said, no Stu drop
song writing, concentrate on your comics and stories.

Maybe they were right? Either way, these rough demo's and vignettes were preserved to give
you a glimps at what could have been a very poor mans, Smile, 'Joke for Beach Boys fans.'
You'll have to try hard to imagine a finished version, much echo was used to add some
percussion, and some of the recording were done on a cheap 80's tape recorder.
It would be awesome to hear it all fully orchestrated but to be honest I can no longer
remember more than 4 chords, let alone tell anyone what notes I was playing.

1: Down By the Rugs We Did Sit
2: Maybe Baby
3: Neptunes Navel
4: You Wanna Die
5: Motorcycle through the Clouds You Old Rocker
6: Bitter Old Cowboy
7: Foundation Man
8: Show me Something
9: Make it up
10: Hide Away in Our World
11: Day for Plunder
12: Clockwork Orange
13: Sundays Illusion
14: Hard Times
15: Palace of the Ruby Terrapin
16: Always

Nice.
That Psychedelic music is always cool to have playing.
Something to listen to, to make the work go faster.
