I want to pick all of them. But I can't unfortunately. Well, I think Spidey would be what I would be most confident at. Although I might need to brush up a little on the universe. Star Wars, there's so much of it these days, I think I'll leave it to the IP owners.
I would love to do a fancomic of everything on this list to be honest, but I have to consider time, and my own creations that are itching to get out. For Final Fantasy, I'm thinking of a number of things. But which FF would you choose?
To be honest I've preferred unique spins on the FF world, and one idea I've always liked is merging two stories together. I've been mulling over one story that combines the events of II and IV, i.e. the Emperor works for Zeromus alongside Golbez (maybe even voluntarily), the Empire that Firion and co are fighting against is heavily backed by the Baron Airfleet, Cecil and Kain initially start off fighting against them but after they've seen the light try to join up with the resistance, there is initially some hostility and reluctance to trust them and ultimately the surviving members of both groups join up into one party to take down Zeromus , perhaps in a fashion similar to FFVII's battle with Bizzaro Sephiroth - groups attacking Zeromus from all angles to expose weak points. In addition all the dead members team up to fight the Emperor in Heaven - as in the "Dawn of Souls" bonus dungeon - but maybe the Emperor now has the Four Fiends as protectors that have to be taken down beforehand.
Admittedly it's been a VERY long time since I properly played any of those games and I'll admit I never got far in II due to the leveling system (which I keep meaning to rectify) but I've always felt if two FF worlds were to come together, theirs could.
Cool. You should give it a go! Not really sure if I'd merge any of them. I would probably focus on a smaller view of one of the less known characters. I have too many of my own large stries to focus on, so it would work as a kind of relief from bigger projects.
That's fair enough, and I'm kind of the same - I have my own projects I want to produce first. Plus I'm not big on fan art. If I had a choice between drawing an OC, be it my own or someone else's and say a picture of Tifa, I'd chose the OC any day of the week.
Cheers, but what I mean is, I already have some help on a few projects and just managing projects is more work for me. The more help I get, the more projects I have to manage, if you know what I mean. I look forward to just working on one project.
