Tifa's hot, Terra's hot, Hell, they're all hot.

I voted Celes Chere because she's one of the VERY FEW Smart Blondes I know of (makes me wonder if her hair is actually dyed).

My favorite Final Fantasy girl....well one of them....Maria (Final Fantasy II).

I haven't played FF 6 long enough to know much about Celes. I look forward to it though. I started it ages ago, but run out of time. I have them all on my PS Vita ready to go again though. :)

You're the second to mention Maria, I've added her to my list! :)

Celes is the one Locke/Lock/Loch/Ihadan rescues from being executed; they eventually become very, VERY close.

If you play FFVI for about three, maybe four hours, you'll get to meet her; she's held captive in South Figaro (it's the three-part split-up choose-a-path scenario with Locke going alone).

Cool, I hope to see that. I also liked the Pirate in FFII (I unfortunately don't remember her name).

Have you considered Maria from FFII? She has an interesting design in some of the artwork I've seen.

I do feel the game is a little under represented. Granted I struggled to get into it when I had the GBA port, mostly as I found the level up mechanic more of a grind than usual. However I wouldn't mind giving the game another shot and would like to see a III or IV style re-make, which maybe fixes some of the issues.

I have it on the PS Vita, which is cleaned up. But I agree, it'd be good to see it look like the DS updates.

She's very popular, must be the close to nature thing. Looks like Tifa is running away with this though. :)

Everyone loves Tifa. As to why... it's a no brain-r

However I don't think the other girls get enough love V_V

Yeah, me neither, that's why I want to paint them all. It's funny I remember way back in 1997 when I first played FF7 everyone was amazed that my Cloud got to ride on the big wheel with Tifa instead of Aeris. I guess it was an option or two I chose throughout the first half of the game that set it that way. I remember at the time everyone seemed to like Aeris better. :)

I can see the appeal.
Aeris is more girly, so it's easier to be attracted to her.
Plus, cloud had a thing for her and we're suppose to be sympathetic with the main character.

Tifa on the other hand has um... larger "assets" to put it nicely...
So she's usually the first if you ask anyone, because she's the first one that comes to mind.
Also the "hot girl next door" type is a favorate story for many.

You can also get to ride the wheel with Yuffie, which is awesome that the creators included her.
But alot of people might not like sence she's 16 at the time that the game takes place.
However, I think that complaint is stupid sence it's a japanese game
and the Japanese minimal age of consent is 13. You do have to account for exceptions like prefecture and district
laws, as well as possible "parental consent" ...
--- Wikipedia Text [The Japanese Penal Code sets a minimal age of consent of 13. However, all prefectures and districts have (largely similar) "obscenity ordinances" that forbid "fornication" with anyone under 18 years of age, but exempt sex in the context of a sincere romantic relationship (typically determined by parental approval). The age of marriage is 16 for girls and 18 for boys, with parental consent, or 20 otherwise.]
Personally I don't give a crap sence they aren't real people anyway >.>

However you can also get a "date" with Barret too.
But it's hella hard and you have to REALLY screw things up with the girls to accomplish that.
Sence his points start out so low to begin with.

Still it's fun to see if you can get all the scenes ^.^

lol 13 is mighty young. Japan is pretty odd to me sometimes. But they probably think England is odd. I can't imagine how you could mess up so bad that you'd get Barret. I think I told Aries that I liked pale complexions, she seemed pretty disappointed at that. :)

Yeah, Japan does seem pretty wierd, but every country is, in it's own way.

BTW:
At the start of the game, the "affection values" are:
  Aeris:  50
  Tifa:   30
  Yuffie: 10
  Barret:  0

As the game proceeds, certain decisions or tasks you undertake will amend
them.  When you reach the date, whoever has the highest Affection value will
be the one chosen for the cutscene.  If, however, there is a tie for the
highest, then the priorities are thus: Aeris, then Tifa, then Yuffie, and
finally Barret.

For example:
When you enter Seventh Heaven, and you have a flower:
"Give it to Tifa"    (+5 Tifa)
"Give it to Marlene" (+5 Barret)

When Aeris asks if Tifa is your girlfriend:
    "No way!"            (+1 Aeris)
    "Yeah, that's right" (-5 Aeris)

When you first meet Red XIII:
"Tifa, I'm countin' on you!" (-2 Tifa)
"Barret, take care of her!"  (+2 Barret)

When you first talk to the old guy in Fort Condor:
    "I guess so"     (+5 Barret, +3 Aeris, +3 Tifa, +2 Yuffie)
"Not interested" (-5 Barret, -3 Aeris, -3 Tifa, -1 Yuffie)

LOL, I have a walkthrough that lists all the "decisions" and how they affect the values ^.^

Why Final Fantasy when there arebetter RPGs?

1- I'm doing a painting, it has nothing to do with gameplay, and Final Fantasy games have beautiful graphics. 2- I'm a fan of Final Fantasy in particular, why would I do fan art of something I'm not a fan of? 3- Final Fantasy is the most well know JRPG IP in the west, which is where I'm from, so perhaps I'm ignorant to other games.

Name a female RPG character that would look more stunning in a painting than one of the above character and I might consider. :)

Nah, in my humble opinion, none of those girls hold a candle to the girls on that poll. -And Aurora is way too young to be stunning!

I've played all four of those games mentioned.

I'd say safely that Aurora has several layers of beauty.

Calista is almost too much, too beautiful.

But if I had a non Final Fantasy character I thought was absolutely gorgeous, it would be Zelda.

I've always been a fan of hers.

Zelda has changed so much over the years. But still not as pretty as a final fantasy girl, imho.

OK I'll admit Calista is pretty. -And Aurora is beautiful in her own right.
