Well voted for confrontational moments, but love interest shares a first place but confrontational won the coin flip. But personal I think you should had the option for all the above, because all the options is what makes a good story.
Cool. Strangely enough your choices didn't rate very highly. Agreed, they all add to a good story. But I'm just looking for what moves the reader more than anything else. It's interesting to separate it all and look at how it effects out interest and emotions individually.
Dang it hard questions! Well I guess I could say one of them. My favorite book/story is Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Mabarry. Favorite comic is Deadpool: the good, the bad, the ugly. Favorite movie is Silent Hill.
Is there nothing that stands out to you as something you look forward to in a story more than anything else? Maybe how a character will react to conflict. Or reveal of wonderful locations. The preparation of a great journey? An emotional goodbye? Or knowing something that a character does not...
A good story should several elements that you just pointed out. Interesting plot, interesting and well developed characters. The wonderful locations and etc. is important as well, it can help showing in what kind of environment these characters live in and why they sometimes act the way they do. The rest isn't as important to me.
Agreed. But try separating the elements, have a think about what makes you most excited when you find a story you love. Is it two characters coming together that you know are going to disagree? Is it opening a door to the most magical room you've ever seen? What's your preference?
The plot itself has a lot to do with it. I'm not particularly interested in tragedies or horror. I like the whole good guy versus bad guy theme, and prefer good characters with a background we learn about, and then see them progress.
Although i also wished to choose the options about '''Fantastic places etc''' '''Character for ''L or H''' and '''Love Interests and relationship etc''' i prefered my favorite . . . 'Laught' Thank you anyway for this great Poll.
